GC Installation and Training

Gas chromatography (GC) is an analytical technique used to separate the chemical components of a sample mixture and then detect them to determine their presence or absence and/or how much is present. The samples are volatilized and introduced into the GC system for analysis using a carrier gas. GC is a widely used technique across most industries: chemicals, cosmetics, oils, agriculture, food pharmaceuticals and for safety from environmental pollutants or toxicants.

The course covers the theory and principles of capillary GC analysis technique and practical application. You will learn the various GC components from injection up to detection. In addition, participants will learn GC methods development, calibrations, data processing and troubling shooting.
